About The Chinese Tourist Visa

General Information

With a China Tourist (L) Visa you can visit China for tourism purposes or to visit family or friends. This visa can be either a single, double or multiple entry and remains valid for either 90 or 180 days.

With this visa, you can stay in China for up to 30 days during the validity period.

Eligibility

You can apply for this visa if:

  • Hold a passport from an eligible country
  • Your passport must be valid for the entire period of your intended stay and have blank pages
Requirements

In order to apply for this visa you will be required to provide a number of documents. These may include:

  • Passport photographs
  • Completed application form
  • Travel itinerary and hotel booking confirmations are required. If you are visiting someone in China, an invitation from this person and supporting documents will be required
